This page explains how the MyHomeLobby Editorial Team decides what to publish and how each page is put together. We want you to know exactly what stands behind the information you read here.
How topics and products are chosen
We choose subjects in kitchen products, home appliances and smart home devices based on three things:
- Usefulness to readers who are trying to decide what to buy
- Search demand, meaning what people are already looking for
- Availability, so that the products we mention can actually be found in stores
How content is researched
Our research draws on manufacturer specifications, public product information and aggregated buyer feedback. We read what makers say about their products and compare it with what owners report in reviews.
No one on the team physically tests the products. We don’t run bench tests or try devices in a home, so our pages describe what published sources say, not our own measurements.
When sources disagree, we say so rather than pick a side quietly. If a specification is missing or unclear, we leave it out instead of guessing. Buyer feedback is treated as a general signal, such as a complaint that repeats across many reviews, and never as proof of how a single unit performed.
How drafts are written and checked
Drafts are written with AI writing tools. That is a normal part of how we work. Every draft is then reviewed by the MyHomeLobby Editorial Team before it goes live, to catch errors, unclear wording and claims the sources do not support.
Reviewers look at a few specific things before a page is published:
- Do the specifications match the manufacturer’s published figures?
- Is each claim backed by a source we used?
- Is the wording clear, calm and free of hype?
- Are links pointing to the right pages?
The team is made up of people, but this page does not name individuals, and the site publishes under the MyHomeLobby Editorial Team name.
Commissions and recommendations
The site earns affiliate commissions when readers buy through some links. Those commissions never decide what we recommend or how we describe a product. Our Affiliate Disclosure has the full explanation.
Reviews and updates
Prices, models and features change, so pages can fall out of date. We revisit content when we notice a change, when a reader points out a problem, or when a topic needs a fresh look. We cannot promise a fixed review schedule for every page, and the store’s own page is always the final word on price and availability, as noted in our Disclaimer.
Independence and limits
MyHomeLobby does not sell products and has no paid placements. Our content is general information, not professional advice, as explained in the Disclaimer.
Reporting an error
If you find something wrong, email editorial@myhomelobby.com with the page address and the details. We read every report and fix confirmed mistakes. You can also use the Contact Us page, and the About Us page tells more about the site.
